Tempered glass

Tempered glass is made by heating up to high temperatures and rapid cooling down after. Thanks to that process it is more resistant to shock: 5 to 8 times of durability and 3 to 5 times of flexural strength more than ordinary annealed glass. Even if broken for some extreme reason, the small glass fragments are almost harmless to human body.

This glass type applications are glass curtain walls for buildings, interior and exterior decoration, railings, bus stops, phone booths, windows, etc.
